Gene Optimization, Design & Synthesis
Higher titers start with better genes. Just provide us with the amino acid sequence of the protein to be expressed. We will design and optimize a gene and clone it into a vector for protein expression in: Mammalian

Whether you need micrograms of many different proteins for your discovery program, or grams of highly purified protein for animal studies, we have the production scale and purification strategy to match. Our cell cultures range from 96-well plates of 1ml cultures through shake flasks to bioreactors delivering grams of proteins. Expression testing/piloting, desalting, custom buffer formulations, and aliquoting are all available on request.

ATUM offers a range of analytical services to characterize the identity, purity, quantity and quality of your protein. Our tools include gel electrophoresis, HPLC (reverse phase, ion exchange and size exclusion), mass spectrometry, bio-layer interferometry (ForteBio Octet Red384 and HTX systems) and bacterial endotoxin testing. We can design a customized analytical package appropriate for your molecule and subsequent applications including IND filing and GLP toxicology studies.
Assay Development
ATUM has extensive experience in measuring functional properties of proteins. This can be binding of an antibody to its antigen, the activity of an enzyme under specific physical conditions or other properties that make the protein useful.
Deliverables
