Technology Platform Licensing

Accelerate your in-house biologics development workflow by licensing ATUM’s technology platforms. Keep direct control over your science, backed by our technical support team.

Transient Protein Expression

Increase protein titers and characterize CQAs prior to investing in stable cell line production by licensing the CHO-K1 derived discoCHO platform

Stable Protein Expression

Improve titers by predictably integrating constructs in your cell line by licensing Leap-In Transposase technology

discoCHO

discoCHO™ is a CHO-K1  transient expression host. Expressed protein has critical quality attributes (CQAs) that are more representative of a final manufacturing cell line. Protein expression easily scales to larger culture volumes, removing a bottleneck present in other transient CHO expression systems. Combined, these benefits can streamline early biologics production and developability testing.

Benefits

  • Scalability from 50 mL to 5 L culture volumes without sacrificing titer
  • Representative manufacturing CQAs
  • Cost savings over other transient CHO platforms
  • Optimized sequences can be seamlessly integrated into our downstream miCHO stable cell line

Licensing Features

  • Access to ATUM’s expertise and decades of work behind our proprietary sequence and vector optimization technologies
  • High level technical support, from our cell line development scientists
  • Access to discoCHO host cell line
  • Annual license for Research Use Only (RUO)

Leap-In

ATUM’s proprietary Leap-In Transposase® technology is a robust solution for your in-house stable cell line development and biologics engineering. Transposons are fully and stably integrated into the host genome, bring higher titers and consistent expression over 60+ population doublings.

Benefits

  • 40+ regulatory filings in multiple territories
  • Stable genomic integration of designed transposons
  • Higher titers, allowing for early process development from stable pools
  • Greater chain/assembly ratio control, key for balancing expression of complex molecules
  • Transposons can be used with your host cell line

Licensing Features

  • Access to ATUM’s expertise and decades of work behind our proprietary sequence and vector optimization technologies
  • High level technical support, from our cell line development scientists
  • Access to our miCHO-GS host cell line
